Man arrested, charged with trafficking minor

A Toledo man was arrested Wednesday and charged in federal court with sex trafficking of a minor.

Anthony C. Willoughby, 33, whose last address was 532 Durango Dr., appeared in U.S. District Court in Toledo Wednesday. Also known as “P.T.” and “Party Time,” Willoughby was ordered detained and remains in custody.

According to a federal indictment unsealed yesterday, Willoughby “recruited, enticed, harbored, and transported a juvenile” and, using interstate commerce, forced the youth in engage in a commercial sex act. The incident allegedly occurred between Feb. 15 and March 19, 2009.

If convicted, Willoughby could be sentenced to life in prison.
