All about apple butter

Grand Rapids Apple Butter Fest organizers predict a profit of roughly $20,000 from the 34th annual Grand Rapids Apple Butter Fest, which centered around apple butter and three kettles. Each kettle yielded about 330 pints.

Among the volunteers working at the kettles were Gary Miller of Neapolis, Ohio. The event also featured Lewis and Clark and Johnny Appleseed re-enactors and blacksmithing, tanning, candlemaking, and other demonstrations.
