Findlay police seeking hit-and-run information

FINDLAY — Findlay police are seeking information through Crime Stoppers of Findlay/Hancock County to identify the person who drove the vehicle that hit and killed Nan Wilson, 52.

Ms. Wilson was walking in the 300 block of Center Street about 2:20 a.m. Oct. 2 when she was struck. Police responded to a report of a person lying in the street. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The vehicle drove off. Police believe it was a 2005, 2006, or 2007 bright silver metallic Jeep Liberty. It would have front-end damage.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers of Findlay/Hancock Count from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday-Friday at 419-425-8477. Callers may remain anonymous and could be eligible for a reward.
