PUT-IN-BAY, Ohio — Three people aboard a pleasure boat from Sheffield Lake, Ohio, who went missing in western Lake Erie Monday were found off Put-in-Bay's South Bass Island, nearly 11 hours after they were reported missing.

The Coast Guard said Roy Counts, Mary Counts, and Renee Keys were found about 11 a.m. with no apparent injuries.

The Coast Guard said it was alerted about the overdue boaters about 12:30 a.m. yesterday when the 26-foot recreational vessel had not returned to Sheffield Lake. The Coast Guard launched a search crew from its Marblehead station as well as response boats from Lorain and Cleveland.
