Local developer Larry Dillin has defaulted on a $12.4 million loan on the Orleans building at Levis Commons in Perrysburg.

The loan paid for construction of the 60,000-square-foot building near the Hilton Garden Inn hotel, according to Cheryl Hardy, a spokesman for Dillin Corp. Mr. Dillin was delinquent on his property taxes this year on part of Levis Commons, which Ms. Hardy said resulted in the judgment obtained by Huntington National Bank this month.

Mr. Dillin, who is out of the country on business, wants to refinance that loan. The judgment is not expected to affect tenants and does not include the Town Center at Levis Commons, managed by Hill Partners Inc. of Charlotte.
