TIFFIN - A former instructor at the Sentinel Career Center has pleaded guilty to a bill of information charging him with attempted sexual battery stemming from an incident with a student in March.

Kenneth Schock, 41, entered the plea Wednesday in Seneca County Common Pleas Court before Judge Michael Kelbley. Schock is to be sentenced Jan. 21 on the fourth-degree felony charge.

Schock resigned last April as an instructor in the public safety services program at Sentinel and said he would surrender his teaching license.

He also had served as a volunteer reserve deputy for the Seneca County Sheriff's Office.
