FREMONT — Trustees at Terra Community College have approved nearly $4.5 million in contracts to remodel an academic building to house its nursing, allied health, music, and arts programs.

Building D, which was built in 1979, previously housed the college's welding, power technologies, and heating, ventilation and air-conditioning programs, which moved recently into the new Skilled Trades Center.

Harp Contractors Inc. of Northwood was awarded the general contract of $2.3 million at Thursday night's meeting. The work, which is to be completed next summer, is being paid for in part with $3.4 million from the Ohio Board of Regents.
