Motivational speaker scheduled at Owens

Motivational speaker Sean Stephenson will present “Time to Stand!” at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Thursday at Owens Community College.

Mr. Stephenson, who was expected to die at birth because of a rare bone disorder that stunted his growth, is just 3 feet tall and uses a wheelchair.

Mr. Stephenson's presentations in the Center for Fine and Performing Arts Mainstage Theatre at Owens is sponsored by the student government and the Raising Awareness Club in conjunction with the Office of Student Activities. The free programs are open to the public.
