Lucas County dog warden schedules adopt-a-thon
10/22/2010Costumed dogs and children are invited Saturday to the Lucas County Dog Warden's first Halloween-themed Adopt-A-Thon.
The event runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the county pound, 410 South Erie St., and includes free candy and dog treats for those in costume. Nearly 30 adoptable dogs will be present and showing off costumes.
Visitors who bring a pet-food item will be entered in a drawing for a doggy gift basket.
