Man shot in central Toledo; police search for suspects

A man was shot right leg in the 600 block of Pinewood Avenue Wednesday night, police said.

The victim told officers he was jumped at about 10:35 p.m. in front of 671 Pinewood by three black males who demanded his book bag. He relinquished the book bag when a gun was thrust in his face, and ran. He was shot while fleeing and treated at the scene.

Crews were looking for three black males, one of whom wore a hoodie.
