Khris Greer, an employee of the Lucas County Dog Warden's Office, walks by a new mural as she takes an Australian shepherd to be viewed for adoption. The mural, unveiled Wednesday, is made up of pictures of dogs drawn by students in the Arts Commission of Greater Toledo's Young Artists at Work program. Lucas County Commissioner Ben Konop said the mural is indicative of the change in attitude since Julie Lyle became dog warden in April, noting that adoption rates have doubled.
