5 Toledoans indicted after latest child sex trafficking sweep

Roy “Lucky” Calhoun, 27, Marissa M. Mayers, known as “Mia” and “Jewels,” 21, and Damien J. Harris, 22, were indicted Monday in U.S. District Court in Toledo for sex trafficking of a minor; conspiracy; transportation of a minor, and coercion and enticement.

The indictments state that Mr. Calhoun and Ms. Mayers for three years recruited teenagers to perform sex acts for pay through listings on the Web site Craigslist.com.

Mr. Calhoun is charged for threatening and assaulting the girls who worked for him or tried to quit, and Ms. Mayers traveled to Indiana, Kentucky, New York, and Michigan to perform sex acts for pay that was shared with Mr. Calhoun.

In an unrelated case, Brandon M. “B Money” Robinson, 27, and Anniesha N. “Buttercup” Whitt, 24, were indicted for sex trafficking of a minor and transportation of a minor.

Both were charged for causing a girl to perform sex acts for pay, and for transporting her from Toledo to Monroe in order for her to work as a prostitute.
