Wood County aging group to offer memory exams

As part of National Memory Screening Day, the Wood County Committee on Aging is to offer free, confidential memory screenings at its senior centers in Walbridge and Bowling Green Tuesday.

The Northeast Area Senior Center, at 705 North Main St. in Walbridge, is to offer screenings from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.

At 10:30 a.m., A. John McSweeny, professor emeritus of psychiatry and neurology at the University of Toledo, is to give a presentation.

The Wood County Senior Center, at 305 North Main St. in Bowling Green, is to offer screenings from 1 to 3 p.m.

Dr. Murthy Gokula, assistant professor-program director at St. Luke's Hospital and the UT Geriatrics Fellowship Program, is to speak at 1 p.m.
