  • A small memorial was set up early Friday in East Toledo in honor of a man who was shot in the location and later died.

Authorities have identified the city's 22nd murder this year victim as Javan "Bam" Turner Bey, 30, of Springfield Township.

Flowers, stuffed animals, a Boston Red Sox ball cap, and a sign with the name "Bam" on it were left at 421 Walden Ave. The memorials were placed in the grassy area between the sidewalk and the street.
