TIFFIN — A Tiffin man was arrested after law enforcement officers found suspected heroin and other drugs at a South Sandusky Street apartment.

Mylan J. Mattox, 31, was charged this week with trafficking in heroin, possession of drug abuse instruments, permitting drug abuse, possession of marijuana, illegal possession of prescription drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of criminal tools.

Detective Charles Boyer, coordinator of the Seneca County Drug Task Force METRICH Enforcement Unit, said the investigation had “a direct nexus between the increasing heroin and pharmaceutical abuse” in the area.
