West Toledo woman dead of apparent gunshot wound
12/17/2010A West Toledo woman died Thursday of an apparent gunshot wound.
Her husband was being questioned by Toledo police at the Safety Building downtown late Thursday.
About 7:40 p.m., Toledo police and rescue crews were sent to a unit in the Hillview Apartments, 6215 Jackman Rd., in response to a report of a person shot.
The woman, Brenda Gould, 46, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her husband, Christopher, told police that he accidentally shot his wife.
