The second of three people involved in the robbery of a Burger King in which the manager was shot was sentenced in Lucas County Common Pleas Court Wednesday to two years in prison.

Robin M. Ensley, 22, of 5084 Norwich Rd. also was sentenced in an unrelated case to 11 months in prison for a theft charge. Judge Gene Zmuda ordered that the sentences run consecutively.

Ensley pleaded no contest Oct. 22 to a charge of robbery. She also pleaded no contest to theft in an unrelated case.

Police said Ensley and co-defendant Jermaine Stokes were robbing the eatery at Hill Avenue and Reynolds Road when Stokes shot the manager, James Harding, 29, in the thigh.

Stokes, 25, of 1768 Cone St. was sentenced Dec. 1 to six years in prison after pleading no contest to one count of aggravated robbery with a gun specification.
