Toledo police made an arrest Sunday in connection with a late-night shooting Saturday that resulted in a woman undergoing treatment at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center.

Steven Upham, 42, of Mott Avenue was in the Lucas County Jail last night on a felonious assault charge. No further information was available about the shooting, or the woman's injury, other than that it was “not life-threatening,” according to Sgt. Bill Wauford.

The victim, Lindsey Steele, apparently was shot while driving about 11:10 p.m.

She had been in a dispute with the suspect, who also was believed to have been in the vehicle, Sergeant Wauford said.

The vehicle stopped outside the Stop & Go store at 3504 Lagrange St., near Manhattan Boulevard, where Ms. Steele was transported by ambulance to the hospital.
