Toledo man, 28, dies in early morning crash
1/23/2011A 28-year-old Toledo man died early Sunday morning after his vehicle struck a utility pole near Westwood and Hartwell avenues, Toledo police said.
Timothy James Brewer of 1935 Eileen Road, the vehicle's sole occupant, was pronounced dead at the scene shortly before 4 a.m.
Police said that Mr. Brewer had been southbound on Westwood and had just passed a car.
He lost control of his vehicle while returning to his lane. The vehicle spun, then slid 200 feet before striking the pole.
