4/5/2011

The Michigan Department of Natural Resources is looking to recruit volunteers in a battle against garlic mustard, a nonnative invasive plant.

Volunteers are needed for Sterling State Park in Monroe County from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 30.

The efforts are part of the Early Detection and Rapid Response initiative to control invading species and help protect the natural heritage of Michigan state parks in the process.
