Birding Basics class slated at Magee Marsh

A two-hour Birding Basics class will be Wednesday and April 20, from 7 to 9 p.m., at the Sportsmen’s Migratory Bird Center at Magee Marsh Wildlife Area.

The class will focus on basic bird identification skills, including birding by ear.

Additionally, there will be two Saturday morning field sessions on April 23 and April 30 to practice the acquired skills, each starting at 8:30 a.m.
