Bowling Green man dies in one-car crash
5/12/2011A 47-year-old Bowling Green man died Thursday night in a one-car crash on a rural Wood County road.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Bowling Green post said Kevin D. Niswander was northbound on Silverwood Road south of U.S. 6 when he drove off the right side of the road. Mr. Niswander apparently over-corrected, sending his 2008 Nissan Altima into a spin. The patrol said the driver’s door struck a tree.
Mr. Niswander was pronounced dead at the scene. He was wearing a seat belt, authorities said.
The patrol said it continues to investigate the crash, which happened just before 7 p.m.
