Ultralight plane crashes at airport
7/1/2011An ultralight aircraft crashed Friday night at Toledo Executive Airport, the former Metcalf Field, in Wood County’s Lake Township.
No one was injured.
The ultralight took off about 7:30 p.m. but apparently lost power. The aircraft struck a fence and a gravel pile at a construction site just south of the airport before it came to rest in a storage barn, troopers with the Bowling Green post of the Ohio Highway Patrol said.
