Natural gas leak closes State Rt. 795 in Perrysburg Township
7/15/2011A ruptured natural gas main Friday morning closed State Rt. 795 at Hufford Road in Perrysburg Township, authorities said.
Route 795 was closed to traffic in both directions about 11:30 a.m. after the leak was reported at 11:26 a.m., according to a township police and fire dispatcher.
As of about 1 p.m., the road remained closed.
The odor of natural gas additives could be detected hundreds of yards from the location.
Columbia Gas crews have been notified, police said.
