Toledo VA Clinic to use online video chatting

With the help of online video chatting software, Toledo veterans seeking benefits will not have to fill out physical paperwork or leave the city to file claims.

Instead, under the new “Click 2 Benefits” pilot program at the VA Toledo Community Based Outpatient Clinic, veterans will interact with employees at a regional office in Cleveland face-to-face via computer.

The employees will help veterans fill out forms in part by controlling the computer in Toledo from afar, and will be available to answer questions.

To use the program, veterans can walk into Toledo Community Based Outpatient Clinic, 3333 Glendale Ave., anytime between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. weekdays. For information, call 419-259-2000.
