Open house to showcase dog warden renovations

County officials will show off the renovated areas at the Lucas County Dog Warden on Saturday while offering free veterinary examinations for any dogs adopted that day.

The newly renovated areas include the adoption area, surgical suite, and outdoor green space.

The public is welcome at the open house at the 410 South Erie St. facility from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Dogs will be available for adoption all day, which includes the complimentary exam. CLICK HERE to view dogs available.
