1 killed, 1 injured in single-vehicle accident
7/27/2011DUNDEE, Mich — Michigan State Police Thursday identified Eric Wicks, 28, of Milan, Mich., as the person killed when a vehicle struck a tree Wednesday night.
Mr. Wicks, the passenger in the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene in Monroe County's London Township, officers at the Monroe post said.
The driver, whose name was being withheld, was taken to an area hospital with unknown injuries, officers said.
The crash occurred about 10:25 p.m. Wednesday on Plank Road near Bunce Road, police said.
Dundee is about 25 miles northwest of Toledo.
