Recycling drop slated for city residents Saturday

Toledo residents are encouraged to take their unwanted bulky items and electronics to a “Refuse Drop and Recycling Event” Saturday in the central city where they can dispose of them free.

The event will be held between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. in the Bethlehem Baptist Church parking lot at 1430 West Bancroft St. near Auburn Avenue. Although the event is meant for people living in council District 1, all Toledo residents are welcome.

Recycling trucks will be on hand to collect most types of recyclable electronic equipment including televisions and computer components.
