Napoleon driver killed in crash in Henry County

McCLURE, Ohio — A Napoleon man was killed Thursday in Henry County when his car failed to stop at a stop sign, went out of control, and slid off the road and into a tree, sheriff’s deputies said.

Nicholas Dietrich, 20, was eastbound on County Road P at State Rt. 65 north of McClure about 9:05 p.m. when the crash occurred.

He was taken by medical helicopter to Henry County Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

McClure is 30 miles southwest of Toledo.
