A Michigan woman accused of killing a pedestrian last month and then leaving the scene was indicted yesterday by the Lucas County grand jury.

Kadie P. McCurdy, 27, of 1775 Stonybrook Lane, Temperance, was charged with aggravated vehicular homicide and failure to stop after an accident. She faces up to 13 years in prison if convicted. Authorities said Christopher Moles, 40, of Gribbin Lane, was crossing West Laskey Road in the 700 block early on Aug. 20 when he was hit. A driver reported him lying in the street about 3 a.m.

Court records showed Ms. McCurdy had a blood-alcohol content of 0.182, more than twice the 0.08 legal limit. She was arraigned in Toledo Municipal Court and is out of custody after posting a $50,000 surety bond.
