A gunman shot up an East Toledo fire station yesterday, leaving a bullet hole in the glass garage door but missing firefighters and apparatus inside.

Toledo Police Detective Willie Johnson said it was unclear if the 4:30 p.m. incident at Station 6, 642 Starr Ave., was a drive-by shooting or if the gunman was on foot. No shell casings were recovered but police found two bullets. Five firefighters were in the firehouse at the time of the shooting.
