Maumee agribusiness The Andersons Inc. said yesterday that it upgraded five grain facilities.

In Indiana, it has increased its storage and finished a new dump system at its Delphi grain complex, and expanded railcar capacity to 75 cars from 50 cars at its Oakville site.

In Michigan, it increased capacity by two grain bins and built a bigger dump pit at its Reading facility, and added a fourth larger bushel bin at its White Pigeon site. And in Illinois, the company added a 10,000 bushel per hour Zimmerman Dryer at its Champaign facility that uses less heat and reduces stress on grain.
