BOWLING GREEN — Rock on, metal fans.

There’s more to your Motorhead T-shirt than a band logo and cotton fabric. Matthew Donahue, an instructor in the Department of Popular Culture at Bowling Green State University, explores the heavy metal T-shirt in popular culture in a presentation at 11 a.m. Thursday at 308 Bowen-Thompson Student Union on the school campus.

The discussion is free and open to the public. Mr. Donahue gleaned his findings from ethnographic research conducted with attendees at heavy metal concerts and festivals in the United States and England, T-shirt vendors, and more. For more information, call 419-372-9181.
