Grohowski paces AW rushing in rout of Devils

The Generals controlled the ground game and rolled to a victory over the host Blue Devils.

Zach Grohowski led a trio of running backs, who each rushed for more than 100 yards for Anthony Wayne (8-2, 5-2 NLL). Grohowski had 190 yards on 12 carries and scored on a one-yard plunge and a 46-yard scamper. Aaron Dulay had 102 yards rushing on 11 carries including scores of 5, 52, and 17 yards. Sam Bruno ran for 109 yards on eight carries and took the first play from scrimmage 49-yards for a touchdown.

The Generals' Hunter Lonseth blocked a punt and then returned the ball 22 yards for a touchdown.

Clay Fink tossed a 13-yard touchdown pass to Ben Steedman for Springfield (2-8, 0-7).
