1 hurt in wrong-way I-75 crash

FINDLAY — A wrong-way driver on I-75 was arrested Wednesday night after causing a two-vehicle crash.

Lawerence McDevitt, 59, of Arlington, was driving a 2005 black Toyota Tacoma southbound in northbound lanes of I-75 in Findlay when the truck struck a northbound 2001 white Pontiac Grand Am driven by Justin Fish, 28, of Toledo, about 7:30 p.m.

Mr. Fish had minor injuries and was treated at the scene, according to the State Highway Patrol.

After the initial collision, Mr. McDevitt, who was not injured, drove across the median to the southbound lanes.

Mr. McDevitt was arrested and charged for operating a vehicle under the influence.
