Sylvania officials have announced the detour routes that will be posted Monday when the Norfolk Southern railroad repairs the railroad crossing on Monroe Street in Sylvania's business district.

Eastbound traffic on Erie Street will be directed to continue east on Erie to Summit Street, then south to Monroe. Eastbound traffic on Monroe will be detoured via Judi Young Lane to Maplewood Avenue.

Westbound traffic will be detoured via Main Street and Maplewood to Erie.

While an announcement earlier this week said the crossing repairs would close Monroe for a week, Mayor Craig Stough said Friday he had been told the work will be done in three days.
