BOWLING GREEN — Wood County’s Board of Park Commissioners will have a new member when it convenes for the first time in the new year.

Wood County Probate Judge David Woessner recently appointed John Calderonello of Bowling Green to a three-year term on the board. An educator for nearly 30 years, Mr. Calderonello has been involved with the design committee for Simpson Garden Park and has served on the Bowling Green Tree Commission and Maumee Bay Watershed Project.

Judge Woessner also reappointed Mary McCormick-Krueger of Perrysburg to a three-year term on the board. An active member of the Perrysburg Black Swamp Conservancy, she was first appointed to the park board Jan. 1, 2010, to serve a partial, two-year term when the board went from three to five members.
