King leads Panthers with 20; Genoa, TC gain wins

Maumee 53, Otsego 49

Dominique King notched 20 points as Maumee topped Otsego Friday night in boys basketball.

Shawn Flanagan added 11 points for the Panthers (4-4).

A.C. Limes led the Knights (4-2) with 20 points, while Drake Johnson had 12.

Genoa 62, Northwood 38

GENOA -- Joey Newland had 16 points for the Comets in a rout of the Rangers.

Tyler Pickard had 13 points for Genoa (3-2). Mark Vogelpohl had 11 and Devin Sibby scored 10.

John Segura and Evan Perkins each had nine for Northwood (2-5).

Toledo Christian 66, Van Buren 59

The Eagles (3-4) were led by Eric Cellier with 22 points and Dominique Pittman with 11. For the Black Knights (1-7) Ryan Adolph had 18 and Justin Roberts 11.

Liberty-Benton 59, Eastwood 43

PEMBERVILLE -- Rob Rucki scored 22 points and Ryan Geise 20 for Liberty-Benton (6-1).

Jacob Faykosh had 17 points and Jake Schmeltz 14 for Eastwood (4-2).

Sandusky Perkins 76, Port Clinton 50

PORT CLINTON -- The Pirates (7-1, 5-0) led at the half 41-27 and never looked back as they beat Port Clinton (4-4, 4-1) in a Sandusky Bay Conference game.

Brandon Smith poured in 20 points for the Perkins. Nic Williams and Michael Ebert had 13 and 15 points, respectively.

Brandon Stubblefield paced the Redskins with 13 points.

Bryan 50, Greenville 42

CELINA -- Bryan won the consolation game of the Celina Shootout.

Liam Phillips led the Golden Bears with 14 points. Adam McBride had 13 and Austin Schimmoeller 12.

Delta 70, Fairview 46

MONTPELIER -- Blake Green poured in 34 points and grabbed 12 rebounds for Delta in the Northwest Holiday Tournament.

Green was named the tournament's most valuable player.

Micah Mohr added 10 points for the Panthers, while Scott Garlinger pulled down 17 rebounds.

Jacob Schwiefert led Fairview with 17 points. Trevor Layman had 15.
