Notes: The Falcons look to keep a pair of streaks alive when they travel to Ypsilanti, Mich. BG has won its last two meetings against EMU, and the Falcons won their last MAC road game at Miami after losing the previous four over the past two seasons. ... EMU ranks 17th nationally in scoring defense, allowing just 59.2 points per game. Only two Division I teams in the country score fewer points than Eastern Michigan and its 52.6 points per contest. ... The Eagles are led in scoring by Darrell Lampley, who is averaging 13.0 points per game and has made 30 three-pointers. Lampley is the only EMU player averaging more than 7.0 points per game. ... New Eastern Michigan coach Rob Murphy spent the past seven seasons at Syracuse, the alma mater of BG coach Louis Orr. ... UT's win streak over the MAC East grew to nine Wednesday in a 79-66 route of Miami at home. The Rockets fell behind 16-3 but blew the game open in the second half when they shot 69 percent from the field. ... The key matchup in this game will be between guards Andola Dortch, who leads UT in scoring with 14.9 ppg and Buffalo's Brittany Hedderson, who is second in scoring in the MAC at 20.1 ppg. ... Dortch tied a career high with nine assists in the Miami game.

Associate coach Jennifer Roos will lead the team in his absence. ... The Chippewas will be without their three top scorers after the MAC suspended them for two games following a fight Wednesday. ... Bowling Green has won the previous two meetings and 11 of the last 12, but lost the last meeting in Mt. Pleasant in 2010. ... Sophomore Niki DiGuilio, last year's MAC freshman of the year, is averaging 7.0 points per game to lead those players available for CMU Saturday. She has hit a team-high 37 3-pointers. ... BG's Danielle Havel is coming off a strong performance at Ball State. The Indiana native just missed a double-double with nine points and nine rebounds, and she also had five assists and five steals versus the Cardinals.
