Slick roads from overnight snow caused numerous drivers to spin off northwest Ohio roads Saturday morning, but area police departments reported most drivers avoided injury.
Interstates 475 and 75 appeared to give the most trouble to motorists, especially Interstate 75 in Wood County, which the Ohio State Patrol said was icy in many places.
Most reports to state patrol and police were for cars in ditches or spun off the road, with Perrysburg police alone receiving nine calls in about an hour Saturday morning. Few of the crashes resulted in injuries, however.
Police reported no fatalities in the morning crashes.
