Utility work to close part of Ford Street
2/13/2012Maumee will close Ford Street between the Anthony Wayne Trail and Illinois Avenue for 14 days beginning Tuesday to allow crews from Columbia Gas of Ohio to upgrade a natural-gas line.
Businesses along Ford Street will still have access to their driveways during the project.
The improvement is part of a $200 million investment Columbia Gas is making in northwest Ohio over 20 years, including $20.4 million in the city of Toledo, the gas company said.
