Bridge work to close lanes near Maumee

Bridge work will require lane restrictions on I-75 near Bluffton and U.S. 24 southwest of Maumee on Thursday, the Ohio Department of Transportation announced.

Southbound I-75 will be reduced to one lane at the State Rt. 103 interchange for bridge maintenance, while bridge repairs will reduce U.S. 24 to one lane each way near Fallen Timbers Drive. The latter site is near existing U.S. 24 construction, but will involve a different work area.

Also, sign work will close the southbound right lane and South Avenue exit on I-75 south of the Anthony Wayne Trail for about an hour Thursday morning, starting at 5 a.m., ODOT said.
