SUV, semi collide on U.S. 20

FREMONT — A tractor-trailer rig and a sport utility vehicle collided on U.S. 20 early Wednesday, causing minor injuries and tying up the morning rush hour traffic just outside Fremont, the Ohio Highway Patrol said.

The names of the victims were not released.

The crash occurred about 6:43 a.m. near Sandusky County Road 198. U.S. 20 remained open to traffic while the debris were being removed, troopers at the patrol’s Sandusky post said.

Fremont, the county seat, is about 33 miles southeast of Toledo.
