Scuba diving club to host archaeologist

The Toledo Submariners scuba diving club will feature a talk by Carrie Sowden, archaeological director for the Great Lakes Historical Society, at Charlie's Restaurant, 26555 Dixie Hwy., Perrysburg, at 7 p.m. Monday.

Ms. Sowden, also archaeological director for Peachman Lake Erie Research Center and the Maritime Archaeological Survey Team, has worked with 16th-century timbers in Lisbon, scuba-dived a wreck in the Azores, and worked with artifacts from a shipwreck from 1300 B.C.
