Toledo weather continued its recent roller-coaster ride with an unusually warm Wednesday that followed, by just three days, one of the year’s biggest snowfalls.

The high temperature of 66 at Toledo Express Airport, recorded at 3:22 p.m., came up well short of the March 7 record of 75 set 12 years ago. But the day was 23 degrees warmer than normal, the National Weather Service said — a sharp contrast to Monday, when Toledo’s high was 31 and 3.7 inches of snow were on the ground.
