4/20/2012Four Blade photographers have been honored by the Ohio News Photographers Association for their work in 2011.
Dave Zapotosky received a first-place award in the general news category for his photo of William Liske walking past family and friends in an Ottawa County Common Pleas Courtroom after he was sentenced to life for killing his father, stepmother, and stepbrother.
Andy Morrison finished second in the feature category for the photo of Jerica Stewart and her escort Ron Pettaway dancing during the 47th Annual Debutante Cotillion.
Lori King won third place in the sports-picture category for a selection of photographs of the University of Toledo women's basketball team playing in, and winning, the WNIT tournament.
