The Whitmer High School baseball team in conjunction with the Central Catholic High School baseball team will honor cancer survivors from the Washington Local Schools with its Survivor Game today. The game at Whitmer will start at 5 p.m., with the pregame honors part of the event beginning 30 minutes earlier.

Cancer survivors will take the field with the teams for the National Anthem, and the first pitch will be thrown by one of the survivors: Shelly Semler, a Whitmer graduate.
