Closings of ramps on expressways scheduled

Stripe painting, traffic shifts, and a bridge-deck pour associated with the I-475 reconstruction project in West Toledo will require overnight ramp and street closings this week, the Ohio Department of Transportation announced Monday.

From 10 p.m. today until 6 a.m. Wednesday, the ramp from southbound I-75 to westbound I-475 will be closed for stripe painting. Detours will direct motorists south on I-75 to the Detroit Avenue interchange.

The eastbound-to-northbound ramp is scheduled to be closed Wednesday from 10 p.m. until Thursday at 6 a.m. for barrier wall re-positioning.

Central Avenue (State Rt. 120) will be closed from 8 p.m. Thursday until 7 a.m. Friday between Upton Avenue and Jackman Road for overhead concrete pouring.
