Bowling Green man feared missing is fine
5/31/2012BOWLING GREEN -- A man, 86, who failed to return home Tuesday night was found early Wednesday riding his bicycle about four miles east of the city, authorities said.
Wood County sheriff's deputies responding to a request to check the safety of the bicyclist found David Shope riding his bike about 4:30 a.m. at U.S.6 and Silverwood Road. He was unharmed after apparently losing his way, Bowling Green police said.
Mr. Shope left the State Street residence of a family member about 8 p.m. Tuesday, but did not soon show up at his home in the 200 block of Baldwin Avenue, police said.
