Toledo man injured in I-475 crash

Authorities on Wednesday released the name of Joseph Kruszynski as the man hurt seriously in a rollover crash that snagged morning rush hour traffic on I-475 in Toledo on Tuesday.

Mr. Kruszynski, 43, of Regents Park Boulevard, was taken to Toledo Hospital with incapacitating injuries, the Ohio Highway Patrol said. He was listed in serious condition late Wednesday, a hospital spokesman said.

He was driving a car east on I-475 just west of Secor Road about 9 a.m. when he swerved to avoid striking another car, causing his car to go off the south side of the road. The car struck a ditch, and overturned several times, throwing him to the ground, officials said.

The crash closed an eastbound lane.
